Admissions

Little Swans Pre-school's opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm. We operate during term time only which means we are open for 38 weeks of the year.

We are registered to accept children from the age of 2. We do operate a waiting list.

If you would like a place at Little Swans Pre-school, please complete the Registration Form

and return it to us as soon as possible.

You can access our sessions in the following way:

Morning session 9am - 12pm.

Afternoon sessioon 12pm - 3pm including lunch.

All day 9am - 3pm including lunch.

Please note we do not provide lunch, your child will need to bring their lunch with them.

We can also offer 8.30am - 9.00am and 3.00pm - 3.30pm.

The pre-school adopts a healthy eating policy and can provide suggestions of what can be used for packed lunch boxes. Please tell us about your child’s dietary needs and we will try to meet them.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines. Our Learning Journey covers the
7 areas of learning:

communication and language.
personal, social and emotional development.
physical development.
literacy.
mathematics.
understanding the world.
expressive arts and design.

Details of our fees are available on request. If your child is absent from pre-school you will need to inform us. Please note that fees are still payable when your child is absent.

All 3-4 year olds are entitled to a funded place from the term after their 3rd birthday. This entitlement is automatically arranged via the local authority.

Some 2 year olds are entitled to 15 hours a week funding, details can be found here of how to apply.

Working parents of children aged 3-4 can also be eligible for 30 funded hours per week, details can be found here of how to apply.
